ANNUAL OPEN HOUSE
Join us for a fun filled weekend in the Beautiful Rocky Mountains. By popular request this exciting weekend has been moved to June 25th, 26th, and 27th, at our factory in Wheat Ridge, CO . The factory is a mere 10 minute drive into the mountains, and the beauty of the Rockies is beyond compare during the summer months. Once you browse the seminars below click the link to go to the shopping cart and purchase a seat for the seminar. Marilyn Thompson, the head of our doll division, and owner of Park Avenue Dolls, will be here to teach two workshops. Today she will be teaching Poppy, a 9" tall, fully articulated fantasy BJD.

Tony Tanner will be teaching an advanced Lace Draping seminar on a fantastic 12" tall doll. The skirt and arms are Jamar Mallory but the busts are new molds sculpted for The Porcelain Place, by Takimi Nishio of Japan. The photo is only a representation of what can be done with these busts, and is a doll created by Takami herself.

Note: Those of you who have asked to be able to do the lace draping and Poppy may complete the Lace Drape doll on Saturday and Sunday or many finish it on Monday if you decide to stay the extra day. |

Pizza Night. We wll order in pizza and spend the time decorating mardi gras masks that fit a doll. We will decorate them in Decorative Art paste, glitter, ribbons, stones, and more. Should be tons of fun for everyone.

Sunday Brunch. We will travel about 15 minutes into the mountains to a picturesque town called Evergreen where we will have a wonderful brunch at a log cabin restaurant call El Rancho.
Cost is $25.00 per person

We will finish the weekend with a two hour session working on costuming of Poppy and/or the animals. Kits will be available and you will be able to spend time with Marilyn to get help developing your own ideas if you desire. |

For those of you who took the lace draping, Tony will glaze fire your dolls for you and they will be ready to take home to complete the china painting. |
